美门残障关怀基金会 BEAUTIFUL GATE FOUNDATION FOR THE DISABLE
1993年，马来西亚基督教卫理公会华人年议会（CAC）开始推广社会服务以关怀肢体残障人士。最初是一项旨在帮助残障人士满足其基本需求的小规模活动，如今已转变成一项使命，以提升残障人士的生活素质并协助他们完全融入社会主流。
In 1993, the Chinese Methodist Annual Conference (CAC) in Malaysia sought to reach out to the disabled community and began to promote social services to care for the people with physical disabilities. What started as a small movement to assist Person with Disabilities (PWDs) with their basic needs has transformed into a mission to enhance the quality of life of PWDs and to assist in their total integration into mainstream society.
今天，我们已经帮助超过2,000多名的残障人士和他们的家庭成员透过各美门中心的培训计划和服务：教育，培训与发展，残障人士就业机会，福利与关怀，倡导与残障醒觉，表演艺术团、康复，资源回收和工作坊，整体性与自立生活培训（ILP），康乐与体育等。
Today, we have assisted more than 2,000 PWDs and their family members through the centre’s programs and services: General Education, Training & Development, Employment for OKU, Welfare & Care, Advocacy & Awareness, Performing Arts Troupe, Rehabilitation, Recycling & Workshop, Holistic & Independent Living Program(ILP), Recreation & Sports and more.

Beautiful Gate Foundation For The Disabled (Kepong)
甲洞美门残障关怀中心成立于1996年，座落在甲洞卫星市，旨在为甲洞一带的残障朋友提供服务。除了提供住宿和膳食给6位残障朋友，目前甲洞美门中心也提供不同的服务给273位甲洞一带的残障同胞。
Beautiful Gate Foundation For The Disabled (Kepong) was established at Kepong Baru since year 1996. We strive to serve the disabled people who live at Kepong area. We provide accommodation and meal to 6 disabled people. Besides, we are providing various services to 273 disabled people at Kepong area.

Our services –
1、 举行喜庆活动，提供残障朋友联谊、交流与互勉的机会。
We hold festive activities to offer an opportunity to promote friendship, communicating, and encouragement for disabled people.
2、 举办户外活动和旅游，带动残障朋友外出以提升他们的自信心。
We conduct outdoor activities and travelling for promoting social life and self-confidence of disabled.
3、 举办讲座以增加残障同胞在各方面的知识。
We conduct seminars to enhance the knowledge of disabled.
4、 提供残障援助品给有需要的残障朋友。
We provide aid products to needy disabled people.
5、 提供自立生活课程协助残障同胞迈向自立。
We provide Independent Living Program for disabled to enhance their self-reliance.
6、 探访与辅导协助残障朋友接纳自我。
We have visiting and counseling disabled people to enhance their self-acceptance.
7、 运动与物理治疗。
We conduct sport activities and physiotherapy.
8、 举办残障醒觉与请愿活动以争取残障人士的权益。
We hold awareness and petition activities to strive for the rights of disabled people.
9、 为残障同胞提供交通服务。
We provide transportation for disabled people.
10、提供烘培训练让残障同胞拥有一技之长。
We provide baking classes to help disabled possess some skills.
11、提供粮食：弱势群体、贫困家庭 、单亲家庭。
We Provide food aid to OKU, poor family, Single parents family.

Energy Depot launched this charity sales campaign and worked with GOCARE to raise funds for
Beautiful Gate Foundation For The Disabled (Kepong).
We hope can raise funds for the Beautiful Gate Accessible Transport Services operation expenditures, so that OKU’s members can use it with peace of mind.
