About this campaign
Barefoot Awareness Race 2016 is an event to raise the awareness of the people living in poor country like South Africa who cannot afford to buy shoes. Many poor people suffer from shoeless, they even feel shame to go to school because they are shoeless. This event is all barefooted to let the participants experience the feeling of barefooted.
It will be 25 station games for a group of 5 participants in a team. The participants are required to barefoot during the event in order to have great experience on their sensation of foot. During the event, there will be opening ceremony and closing ceremony and also lucky draw session.
All the profit that we earn will be donated to our beneficiary which is Great Heart Charity Association.
Great Heart Charity Association is a non-profit charitable organization in Malaysia. They aim to provide substantial and meaningful assistance to people who face difficulties in their life. The core value of Great Heart is making charitable giving a part of everyone’s life.
Great Heart Charity Association is providing substantial help based on two key directions. Physically, they actively provide resources including food, beverage, and daily necessities to those who need them most. They provide funds for disadvantaged people who are going through health difficulties and who require financial assistance to undergo surgeries or other medical treatments. Mentally, they encourage people to stay optimistic and taking care of the mental wellbeing of underprivileged groups by way of bringing happiness to them.

Risks & Challenges
This time, the project funding will be fully undertaken by STACT Club, IICS, and there will be challenge to ensure sufficient support for the efficient running of the project. It is essential for the club to plan and organize the project, while seeking funds from sponsors, donations, and other relevant funding supporters at the same time.
